Stamps with the theme Birds Of Prey
Birds of prey are carnivorous and hunt by day, with the exception of owls, which are nocturnal hunters. They catch their prey on the ground, in water, or in the air. They eat land mammals such as rabbits, fish and insects. Some species also eat carrion. The nest of a bird of prey is called a horst.
